Disappointed

I am so disappointed in the service I recieved from Marlene Kloke at MFC. I am two months in arrears only because of the negligence on my ex employer in processing my payout. I contacted MFC to let them know my situation based on the information I recieved and asked to set a new date as I was expecting to be paid before or after 25/11, even though I contacted them explaining she said she couldn't do anything and that they require a payment and that's that. I also asked for a settlement letter and had some questions in my email which she did not answer, I even asked for her managers details if she couldn't help me, then she only sent me a blank email, no text, with the settlement letter attached. I left it at that as I was still expecting to be paid when I was told I would be. Then I found out that there was another delay with my payment and when it didn't happen as they told me I contacted Marlene again to let her know my position. Her emails are so rude in my opinion and no offer of options, just a straight - you have to make a payment or we handing you over to a debt collection agency. I expressed my dissatisfaction to her directly and told her I cant pay MFC until I get paid at which time I am settling my account as I previously stated and that I am unable to make another arrangement right now. I have no control over the situation and all I can do is wait and I can't give a definitive date due to delays since I already gave a date and couldn't uphold it. Now, I know my commitments and clearly stated my story and I know that they aren't there to listen to stories, and she goes and lectures me about my commitments and what kind of lender MFC would be if they didn't hold their clients accountable for their payment commitments and let clients do as they wish??? She clearly wasn't taking into account anything I was saying to her, and I know her job is to collect my money and that's all, but have some decency, you working with human beings here. As they wish? Seriously? How inconsiderate is that?

I asked to speak to the manager again as well, and she told me there is nothing her manager can do since I do owe the money. "Talking to Mr Louw won't change this or give you more time." YES, I know that already!!!!!!! In the same email I addressed the manager asking what my options are besides what Marlene has already told me, and he did not respond (last email sent 29/11), today is the 30th and instead of getting and email from Mr Louw, I get another email from Marlene saying:

Good day

We await your urgent reply and payment on this account please.

Thank you

What is this? Reply to what? Payment that I can't make right now? What do they expect further from me? I asked for your manager and you CCd him, I responded to both of you, and he didn't get back to me. So what exactly do you want me to respond on when there are 11 emails back and forth with between you and I saying the same thing over and over and over. You honestly dont treat your clients with respect in my opinion because you don't answer their questions and offer support or options. I know I owe you the money and I will settle my account when I get paid. If you can't do anything for me then so be it, but your manner of speaking to people is unacceptable, it definitely does matter when someone owes money, but they shouldn't be made to feel as if they are being threatened or given a lecture like a school kid. Maybe if you use a better tone when telling people the only option is payment otherwise xyz will happen (give me the process so I am prepared); then maybe the person on the other end will understand you better. You make people feel so small when all they want to do is work with you to come to a understandable solution or option or explanantion.

I wouldn't recommend MFC. After nearly 5 years of being a client, this is the treatment I get. Your representatives are a reflection of your business so please teach them how to handle their clients with respect and dignity even if they owe you money. Your business is only as good as the business your clients give you. Without them you wouldn't be in business. I'm so angry and frustrated at this whole thing. You really disappointed me big time.
