Declined

Ok , so for the third time now , declined , i was approved on the online site but now declined at a dealer , the car that i app**** for is not much more expensive than wat i was approved for previously , they state that i was declined based on a account i missed payments[2 or 3] (clothing account) on in 2019 which in the end i sorted and got cleared from my name even on experian side i sorted this out as stated previously my credit score has never been higher than now not even when i app**** for the car i currently finane through mfc, when applying i also noticed an account where i never missed any payments on but payd in full and closed still reflected on mfc's side as an expense i provided a paid and settled letter aswell, i am really asking please consider this as i do not plan in buying another vehicle again in the near future and even if they give me a bit higher intrest to suit mfc i would still do it i know i can afford the vehicle and i have been an existing client of mfc for almost 3 years now never ever missing a payment on my car proving i am a good client to mfc , i have been working by back end of to get to this point for a better car a better future , the refrence the dealer gave me is *** , really hope this can be sorted please
