COVID19 payment chronicles......
01st of September 2020 i received the most disturbing call from Judith who is one of MFC tracers who was so rude, she called in to advised that I have failed to pay my account after the payment holiday that was given to me due to the pandemic. This girl had no sympathy nor was she willing to hear what my situation was instead she used that opportunity to tell me how broke I am and the difference between someone who can afford a vehicle and someone who simply cannot despite the fact that we are still on lock-down and the likes of me are still not permitted to resume our duties as we are required to assess clients properties. She advised that she wants R15080.00 by the 03rd of September 2020 failure to do so my vehicle that I have been paying for since 2017 without missing a single payment will be repossessed. This call had a very negative impact on my health given the fact that I am already dealing with my job issues and not being able to make ends meet due to Covid-19 pandemic which the very same government declared as a world wide disaster.I have never been bul**** and undermined by a creditor the way I was by MFC being told that you are broke and have no money why am I being stubborn and not hand the vehicle back to them as I cannot afford it.Had it not being for this pandemic I do not think I would have found myself in such a mess begging someone to hear me out or be at their mercy.I am not saying they are not suppose to call me however the way the matter was handled I am totally not happy and feel that there should be some kind of sympathy to each and every situation or phone call made to each and every client who is going through the most right now besides being on lockdown I have 10 family members during the lockdown and still trying to figure out my way forward to this so called life.
