ChocNed wasting my time and effort

<p>I have been MFC's c;ient since 2010 when I bought my first car. I bought my second car with them also and never experienced any problems.</p> <p>This week I identified a car I want to buy from a private seller. I was referred to ChocNed which deals with private sales. The consultant who assisted me gave me a hard time with my proof of address documentation and requested me to get a stamp on my proof of address from the bank (I've never experienced this in my entire life). The application was then approved but things got worse when dealing Jan from Clearance department. ChocNed requests the seller to provide a copy of the vehicle registration Certificate (which is available and clearly reflects the owner of the car). They also request the following which is almost impossible to obtain:</p> <p>1. Current owners proof of payment to the previous owner (really??????)</p> <p>2. The previous owners proof of where they bought the vehicle from (Utterly ridiculous!!!) </p> <p>The consultant said it clearly that there's nothing he can do.</p> <p>I have wasted time seeking finance with ChocNed, calling insurance companies for quotes because I had hope that all will go well.</p> <p>Now, I'm about to loose a car I've always wanted because of unnecessary documents.</p> <p>ChocNed management please assist in solving this problem.</p>
