Banking Code of Conduct

I called to get a paid up letter for a vehicle that was traded-in last July but apparently the 2 letters sent to MFC allowing me access to this account cannot be found. I then requested just to have the letter sent to the registered email address and I was told that it couldn't be done....understandable. Then I requested to speak to a Team leader which was denied to me by the person in charge of this call....Gladstone.

The reason I could not be transferred to an agent was purely because of the BCC. When I asked to quote me the sections it took him just over 10minutes to find it.....SERIOUSLY. But he questions my knowledge of BCC.

Reasons are as follows:
Doesnt allow me to be on on this account irrespective of letter of authorisation - FC Act 2001 Privacy
Cannot speak to a Team leader - What a surprise he couldnt find the act

TOTAL IDIOT. MFC should be really proud of Gladstone. The words \banking code of conduct"just rolls of his tongue.

Best of luck MFC"
