I am truly disappointed by MFC, recently I app**** for Vehicle finance through We Buy Cars where I was approved 100% by MFC. The vehicle I financed was sold to another buyer. WBC then got me another vehicle which was in a much better condition than the previous one. Because we already had approval, WBC did an article change with MFC and after that, I was told that they could not finance me anymore because the value of the vehicle is above my affordability.

I then asked them to finance the same amount which I was approved for and I will cover the balance in cash as I do have the capital. I was then told that the vehicle was not in their investment category and refused to finance me. It left me surprised because firstly, they had approved me for the first vehicle without any issues and now they are making a complete 360 turn saying that it falls outside of their scope. However, the previous buyer from the first sale I wanted to make, was financed by MFC (a white person) and I was refused finance for the same vehicle (a black person).

To think that I was in the process of moving my bond to Nedbank as well as my business accounts which will make banking easier but after the ************** I received, I am pulling the plug on them.
