Bad Service
My aunt had a car finance with MFC for her vehicle, on the 11th of September 2024 she passed away then 2 weeks after I contacted MFC and notified them about my aunt's death, on the 11th October 2024 I received an email from Lesego Kganane from MFC stating that my aunt's car have a credit life cover. The emails stated further requesting required documents to finalize the claim which were sent to them. Two months or so later someone from MFC named *Francois Potgiter sent me a Voice Note advising us to sell back the car to the bank and then I responded by saying MFC has already called us stating that the car have a credit life insurance, five months later MFC emailed the Executors saying the car is behind on payments and it needs to be surrendered back to MFC. As far as we understand if the car had no credit life why would MFC send us an email saying the car is covered for credit life then later they say it's behind with payments? What is the purpose of Credit life and why would such a big company interdict themselves? This is a serious matter as they can't say the vehicle is covered then later change their story because the owner of the car has passed on? MFC is taking advantage of the family thinking we have no clue about anything and it is clear now that MFC is up to no good they are taking advantage of the bereaved family and it seems they forget that we have proof in black and white they written themselves stating that the vehicle have Credit Life Cover, after so many months they they come back and say the car is in arears which we as a family we relaxed knowing the car is now safe and it does not owe anything. This matter as a family we will take it further and we are not letting it lay low. MFC has to make sure they keep their agreement and clear the payment issues as they gave us suretyship agreement.
