Angry and Disappointed customer
I purchased a vehicle in 2019 through MFC.Paid my vehicle until 2023 when I lost my job.I had skipped 2 payment then I was behind.I got the job mid year nd negotiate the payment. In 2024 I got threatening calls saying that I must return the vehicle as I was behind with payment. I was paying monthly however I was carrying the balance of the 2 months. The threatening calls ascalated to my home, threatening the people I'm staying with, that I will be reported to police and get arrested if I don't return the vehicle as if I have ****** it. Was getting calls everyday and being asked my location otherwise the vehicle will tracked and i will get arrested. I got tired of these calls everyday because the asset was being paid every month regardless of the balance I was carrying. The next day she phoned and I was in an interview, she asked my location and I told her.She asked to meet me.She arrived with her husband or partner with lots of papers for me to sign and they told they taking the vehicle right there. Cut the story short, received an email saying my vehicle is going on Auction and another confirming the amount that was sold with. Another email again of the balance I must pay to settle the balance with is R58000, which I am currently paying. I was not treated fairly and yet I am expected to finish the loan amount. In September only I receive a letter confirming that the asset was returned after I have terminated the contract.I DID NOT TERMINATE THE CONTRACT. It also state that I voluntarily surrender the vehicle, WHICH IS FALSE STATEMENT. I was forced to return the assets but I am still paying for it.It is so sad that I was treated like a ******** as if I have ****** then the asset. There after few months of being sold I get a letter stating that I voluntarily gave my vehicle, which i loved.I am very disappointed in MFC
