Adding additional charges to settlement figures
My settlement just got loaded with a bunch of extra fees just because it is an insurance claim - No where was it ever explained to me that should a vehicle be written off; your settlement figure would jump with more than a R1000!
So apparently Nedbank feels that it is not enough that I just went through a traumatic experience (which was not even my fault by the way) and has to surprise me with another piece of nastiness after the fact.
Be very careful when financing your vehicle with MFC - clearly they are not translucent to all the hidden fees and charges.
