Absolutely dismal admin and unapologetic excuse for service

On 13/3/2017 I requested a settlement balance for my vehicle, the paperwork in black and white read R3900 (and some change) and noted that the last payment of R2700 was recorded as 15/02/2017. Fast forward 17 days to today when I actually want to settle my vehicle, I call and request a settlement and am told it is now R4090. They send the letter and it says the last payment of R2700 was recorded as 15/03/2017, therefore surely if you take the orginal settlement on the 13th and subtract the amount paid on the 15th you end up with less not more? I try question this with some excuse for a customer service agent and he s******s (listen to the call! I am glad he finds my financial suffering funny!) and get told their system just does that. Now I am certain that the documentation provided is legally binding and that this is complete malpractise, I have since paid the amount because I dont want them to now add even more on and I sit suffering for another month - thanks MFC for not knowing what is going on, I am glad to be rid of you and certainly wont ever be using your pathetic firm ever again!
