Useless Medical Aid

This scheme covers virtually nothing. Every time we get authorization, there's a copayment for everything—from medication to dentistry. Many specialists aren't included in this scheme, and when you call to check if a particular doctor is covered, they'll say yes. But later, when you reach out for authorization, they refuse to pay. They don't even direct you to the right department when you need answers.

First, they denied my refund when my son visited a neurologist. Now, they've rejected my payment for glasses, claiming I don't need them, even though the optometrist provided a motivational letter as requested. What kind of medical scheme refuses to support your basic well-being? Why are we paying for a scheme that doesn't assist with even the simplest needs, like over-the-counter medication? It's always a hassle to get anything, and there's always an extra payment required. I can't even buy basic Paracetamol without going through a complicated process. This is beyond frustrating. the optometry board and Panel took a decision on my behalf saying that I don't need spectacles due too my reading script it's very low they can't pay for that. An eye test was conducted and the optometric so fit for me to have glass but NO the board and Panel don't think so, Whoever is in charge of this scheme needs to reevaluate its purpose because it's truly pathetic.
