Pathetic Service!!!

In March this year i contacted the call centre and logged a request for detail relating to an unsetlled hospital bill for 2011. This is an ongoing issue since 2011 and the matter has now been taken to court. The request is quiet simple, the court requires a document from Moto Health Care detailing all the reasons or this account not being settled, the court does not require an invoice which the call centre continuously sends. Pre-Authorisation was approved on the 14 July 2011. As per the service consultants a motivation letter was requested from the hosiptal, as per melomed this was sent, however the bill remains unsettled. Every time i call i get a different story, this issue has now been escalated to the Fund Managers and i completed a request to access record but i have still not received the information i require which i need to present to the court before the 11th May 2016, instead the service consultant just sends me another statement to make it seem as if they are actually doing something. This statement is not what the court requires, it is also unacceptable that it takes almost 2 months to get information which should be readily available. If you go into the following reference number *** or member No: *** you should be able to find all the information i require.

Hopefully someone will contact me before the 11th May 2016.

Your complaint to ****opeter.com is noted.

Please be advised that a request for access to information is subject to your application being ***essed for Approval or Denial( Referring to point H of the form you completed).

The ***essment is reliant on Management first reviewing all the information requested. This may take up to 30 days ,which is in accordance with the requirements of the Medical Schemes Act( Reference to chapter 10) and the Scheme Rules( Reference to Rule 21.3).”

We will advise on the decision once the ***essment has been completed.”

Your reply is noted, however i logged the request on the 11th March 2016 *** , tomorrow it will be 2 months since the initial request was logged. No one informed me that it will may take up to 30 days to review which is ridiculous as all information i needed was given telephonically within a few minutes, drafting a letter containing the same information should not take 30 days. Now you want to quote Medical Schemes Act and Schemes Rule as if every person not working in the medical aid industry should be aware of it. Like my review description says, Moto health care`s service is PATHETIC to say the least. This is not the first time the same information is requested.

Your response is proof of the poor service. Check the reference number which will show you when i logged this request. Rather respond when you have resolved this issue. This information was requested on numerous occassions but it is clear that the service consultants and call centre managers who do not bother getting back to customers, need to be re-trained on Customer Care and how to deal with the various queries a medical can and will receive.
