Cannot choose a medical specialist

I had 3 major spine operations within 5 years. Namely L5 S1 on all 3 occasions.The last operation was done by a doctor at Umhlanga hospital which was a success.2 years have now passed and I need to remove the implants.<br> Medical aid will not approve the same doctor to remove these implants. They say they have doctors who are listed on their data base to perform this type of surgery. The doctor listed did the other two ops and no longer does this type of surgery due to his age.\no fault of the doctor a wonderul man.i now need hip replacement surgery and the only doctors approved are in Durban central.even thou my doctor will perform both of these surgeries
