Morton & Partners delaying refund

I have a refund due to me of R10, 956. 85 from Morton & Partners since the 5 October 2020. I was informed that I would get paid on the 5 Oct. Nothing happened. I phoned Ms. Celeste Vester and was informed that it would be done on the 8 October. Nothing happened. I phoned three times and each time I was promised the refund but nothing happened. My Medical paid this money to them on the 30 September 2020. I had already settled the account at the time the MRI was done (17 August 2020) as I was still waiting for pre-authorisation. Because I had already settled the account the Medical aid policy is that they will pay the service provider and they will refund me as I had already paid. I sent 2 emails and followed it up with 3 phone calls to Ms. Celeste Vester in their accounts dept. I was told that the refund would be effected on the 8 Oct nothing happened. On Friday the 9 October when I phoned I was promised that the refund would be effected on Monday (12 Oct 2020) nothing! I phoned again and spoke to Ms. Vester and she again promised that they would refund me tomorrow, the 13 Oct. 2020. I am disappointed. When one has X-Rays, MRI etc the patient must pay the same time. But it seems that Morton & Part do not do the same when it comes to refunds. this is a big amount to me. To say the least it is very bad service. Ahmed Moosa

Thank you Hello Peter!
I don't have much faith in Morton and Part to be honest. All promises no action.

Good Afternoon Mr Moosa,

I can confirm that the refund amount has been paid to your bank account and has left ours today (13th Oct).
I have shared a short response from our Financial Controller via email as well.

Kind regards
