Morton and partners Riverland Disgusting treatment
Morton and partners Riverlands. Absolutely disgusting staff! Let's start with the young lady who gave me a mammogram. Put in a freezing room after to wait. I could here complaining to her manager about her how shifts where unfair. All while I'm dreading my outcome. They then tell me nothing, leave me waiting for an hour to tell me now we must do an ultrasound as they have seen something. Then the African arrogant, rude egotistical manager ends up doing my ultrasound. She's has zero empathy or respect. They then put me into another freezing room for 45 minutes telling me they need to do another ultrasound. You can imagine my anxiety. After another hour I see their radiology doctor.a woman cold unsympathetic and also couldn't give me any answers. So I spent from 11 am to 2pm there, spent over 2k and they can't tell if I have cancer. Nor do they care. They zero empathy or manners. I was treated awfully. Please ladies avoid at all cost. They should all get fired
Apologies for the delay in reply.
We can share that the additional ultrasound was needed because a specific probe wasn't available in the room you were first taken to, which required a short wait for another room to free up — we're sorry that wasn't explained clearly enough at the time, and that the wait added to your anxiety. Our radiologist also spoke with you afterwards to address your concerns directly.
On the wait for results: this is standard across our practice. Our radiologists and mammographers generally provide a brief feedback update on the results, if necessary, but your treating clinician will review all the facts (imaging, bloodwork, and any further recommendations) before discussing next steps with you. We know that waiting can feel difficult when you're anxious, and we sincerely apologise if it added to your distress.
