Mould-riddled Montego Classic dog food

Came home this past Monday with a bag of Montego Classic. I’m disgusted and appalled. Opened the bag, straight from Linden Vet, to find the dog pellets covered in mould. Raced back to the vet just in time. They admit that there have been problems with Montego, and some recalls of Aug batches. So why are there still Aug batches on the shelves? Do Montego care that little that they would put our dogs’ health at risk! I’ve had enough of Montego. For months now their pellet sizes have also been irregular and on average smaller than they used to be. A 25kg bag used to fill 1.25 of our custom-made bins, but now I’m lucky if it fills 1. I’m sure the bags still weigh the same (and the pellets must therefore be denser and heavier) but since I imagine most people feed their dogs by volume, not weight, this is a neat way to sell more product. And now, this!!! Mouldy food.
