I'm very surprised to read bad reviews on Montego. I have had my Rottweiler on it since she was a puppy and she is now a healthy 8 year, as well as all my other rescue dogs, and cats on the Monty & Me cat food. I have had no issues with it, ever. I feed 24 stray cats with it - they too are all very healthy, its cheaper then other brands and I find it to the most affordable and the best in its price range on the market. I'm on a tight budget feeding all the strays, however, I have had better results with Montego brands then Wiskas even... Monty & Me cat food never caused the kittens I feed to get upset tummy's, even my Vet recommended it to me when I asked for an affordable good cat food to feed the rescues and strays with.

I live in a very warm, humid area and in all the years have never purchased a moudly bag of food nor has any bag in my pantry ever gone mouldy. All the Montego suppliers in my area are very good, always have stock, and some even deliver to your home when your too busy to go to them! When I lived in Eastern Cape it was colder and wetter then here, there too, never had a problem with mould. The SPAC I donated Montego to also liked the brand and never has issues. So, I think those who are getting mouldy bags, please consider the shop your getting it from, perhaps they are keeping it in a store room that is damp at the back, or perhaps bags are getting torn as they load and off load. I highly doubt the factory is the issue or the brand itself. However, as other people have stated, if you do get a bad bag Montego comes to collect it and replace it - how many other pet food brands offer this service? ' From A Happy Montego Customer!
