Unprofessional, misleading and down right *******

Zero starts if possible- During the month of November 2020 I was contacted by a Mondo sales representative who offered me a 24 month data contract. After much thought I had decided to proceed and agree to a 80 gig day and 30 gig night owl package. A week later, the package was delivered and I was horrified to discover that I was sold the incorrect package. The Mondo contact center was then contacted and could not deny that I was sold an incorrect package which consisted of far less data. I was then advised to return the router and sim card within 10 days and request for a cancellation. Without any delay I visited the nearest MTN store and returned the package immediately and received the reference number. I then immediately contacted the Mondo contact center and requested for a cancellation. I was then advised that cancellation would take between 3 to 4 weeks and I would be credited for the debit which has come of my account. It has now been 3 full months and this contract has still not been cancelled. I have lost count how many times I have contacted Mondo for feedback only to be told that they do not know why it has not been cancelled and will escalate the request. I have been paying R400-R500 a month for 3 months now without receiving any service from MTN which is absolutely unacceptable. There is no excuse for the incompetence from Mondo's part and I would recommend dealing with this company at all. If you are looking for competence and convenience, walk into a MTN store and get things done immediately.
