No delivery after 5 weeks - Rude consultants

A Mondo consultant phoned me and told me about a Wi-Fi router deal with data that sounded like a good deal. I gave the consultant my details over the phone. They almost immediately debited my account with the "admin fee“ I agreed on. They said delivery will be within 14 working days. (Agreement made on 03 November, delivery should’ve been by 23 November) It didn’t happen within the given time so I contacted them, informing them that I am leaving for an international business trip the following week for almost 3 weeks, that they should deliver ASAP. After another call to them, they advised d that I should authorise my wife to receive the package as I will not be in SA to receive it myself. The consultant even gave me the correct wording to add to the authorisation letter that my wife should hand to the courier company upon receiving. I gave my wife's contact details as I would not be able to take any calls out of SA. They advised that would not be a problem at all. I called them again which they said they tried to phone me a few times of which I had only I missed call. They never tried phoning again. I had to contact them to follow up on any progress regarding this transaction, there was no attempt from their side at all.

While abroad my wife advised me that she never received any phone call or delivery, for that matter. I asked her to phone them and get details about what the delay is about. She informed me that the consultant was very rude and did not even allow my wife to explain the situation "because she wasn’t the account holder", even though I authorised her to accept the parcel in my absence. They didn’t want to give her any details. Only saying they tried to phone me, but I didn’t answer, after I advised them numerous times that I will be abroad. My wife tried to explain the reason why they couldn’t reach me but the consultant even started raising her voice and arguing with my wife. My wife then asked to speak to a supervisor. But the consultant refused. After my wife instructed that they either cancel the deal or let her speak to a supervisor. the consultant then asked her to wait while she consult with her supervisor after which she return to the call and advised my wife that the supervisor will not talk to her as she is not the account holder. She asked the consultant for just an indication on what is causing the delay. On which she rep**** again no information may be given if not the account holder. Eventually my wife got the consultant to take her number for the courier company to contact her for the delivery as she is the authorised person to receive the parcel. My wife made it clear that if the courier company did not call within the next 4 days (which would be before the following Friday) the deal should be cancelled. While still abroad my wife advised me about this discussion, I confirmed this notion with an email from my side. She didn’t receive anything in that period. I again sent a mail to cancel the whole deal and instructed that the admin fee that was debited from my account be refunded. My wife then received a phone call from Zain the following day, he said that he is dealing with the query and that they never knew that I will be out of the country and they tried to contact me numerous times with no success, they only got contact details for my wife with the mail I sent (2nd mail). My wife told him that we are cancelling the deal. In this phone call my wife was authorised to make decisions on my behalf (after a very unprofessional and rude phone call about my wife not being the account holder and no information was allowed to be given to her or instructions taken from her.) Zain said it is because he called her, and that he is not a call centre agent, he is the person dealing with our query thus they can discuss an alternative delivery plan. He wanted my wife to receive the parcel that Friday. Which was a week after the agreed date I gave them in the mail after not receding the parcel within the first initial agreed period. She did not agree to this and informed him that I instructed her to cancel the deal and that I will only be back in the country by 11 December after which he may call me again to talk to me directly regarding this absolute disgraceful pathetic service we are receiving.
