Mondo is dishonest! Difficult to get hold of! Poor poor service!

I am writing this review to warn others about my extremely disappointing experience with Mondo Mobile. Initially, I was contacted by a representative who claimed to be from MTN, my current provider. They did not disclose their actual affiliation with Mondo and misled me into believing I was dealing directly with MTN.

The representative informed me that I was not fully utilizing my data and airtime and suggested a new plan that would reduce my monthly payments. I explicitly stated that I could not afford any increase in my monthly cost. They assured me that my payment would not increase. However, without my consent, they upgraded my plan, doubling my monthly cost from R1000 to R2000.

When I tried to address the issue, my concerns were met with rudeness, difficulty in reaching their customer service, and an ongoing investigation that has left me in financial distress. My account has been suspended, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I have been unable to get any meaningful assistance.

I am deeply frustrated and disappointed by Mondo Mobile’s lack of transparency and poor customer service. I urge anyone considering their services to think carefully and be aware of the potential risks involved.

Sadly this is the second time iv had issues with this company and again for the same reasons.
