MISLEADING CLIENTS&BAD ATTITUDE
On the 31st of March 2016, my mother received a call from a Telkom tele-sales agent, offering her the Huawei P8 smartphone for R149 per month. My mum agreed to this and was told that the phone would be delivered to her on monday, that being the 4th of April 2016. The agent proceeded to ask her \which colour\" she wanted, to which my mum said the titanium grey.

On Monday, she received an SMS, saying that she had to deposit an addition R99 into her account, for delivery charges of her Huawei P8 Lite smartphone, White. Upon calling Telkom, they said to contact Mondo directly to query the status of her application. Upon calling Mondo, it was said that the phone was on promotion, and is only available in White. When my mum explained what had happened, the consultant said she will get back to her within 24 hours with feedback. It has now been a full 48 hours with no feedback at all.

Why do companies get inexperienced or untrained agents to call and mislead people into taking their products? They don't want to give us a copy of the recording, neither do they want to provide feedback. Coming from the tele-sales industry, I have a good mind to take Mondo to the Consumer Council."
