********** upgrade done via Mondo

Good Day,

I am writing this to inform you that my mother received a call from a Vodacom agent on August 19 2020 at approximately 10 am to offer upgrades on both mine and my mother's lines, as both were due. My mother told the agent that she was not interested in an upgrade, following which the agent informed her of a different upgrade promotion they were running that consisted of a discounted rate on the uChoose390 package. My mother then told the agent she would think about it and asked them to call her back with a quotation. However, after the call ended myself and my mother got SMS's that both lines on my mothers contract were **********ly upgraded and migrated to business contracts without consent.

Ever since then we have been trying to stop the upgrades and cancel the contracts, however we just keep getting bounced around between different departments as nobody wants to take responsibility for this, or even assist us in correcting it. Even when we get someone who tries to help, nothing ever comes of it.

I unfortunately do not have the name of the representative that committed this ********** transaction, however I have found out that the call came from Mondo, or the rewards department as everyone we spoke to referenced them. Since then we have spoken to one Palesa on 19 August at 3 pm to lodge the first complaint and to try and stop the upgrade. Nomsa on August 27 (reference number ***) and Shanice on August 31 (reference number J09322) who have told us they would cancel these contracts, however nothing has been done as of yet. As of today (02 September 2020) We are awaiting a call back from one Shabien and a Sthembile said she will have a manager contact us to resolve this matter, none of which has yet happened.

Please note that you have until 08 September 2020 to resolve this matter, after which I will have to resort to taking legal action.
