False Information Provided to Sell Contract
On the 4th September 2017 at 14:59 pm I was contacted by a call centre agent saying they were from Vodacom.
I was told that if I upgrade my contract I would be getting much more for my money! I kept asking the same question over and over to confirm that the R200 will still get me 200 minutes and the lady said yes, plus I can get 1 Gig data. After confirming with her numerous times, I then agreed to upgrade.
The contract came into play this month (October 2017) I was using my phone no more than usual and then on the 15th of the month when I tried to make a call I was notified that I do not have any more airtime. I knew I hadn't used my phone more than usual so I sat down and went through ALL my call history for the money, adding up the total minutes and it equalled 86 minutes and 7 seconds.
I went into the Vodacom 4U store in Cresta to tell them I want to move back to my old Contract because I was getting a much better deal before and I the fact that I was provided with false information in order to convince me to upgrade is absolutely appaling!!
I was told by the Vodacom salesman in the store that if I want to move back to my old contract I had to pay R912!!!
I am absolutely NOT paying to have my old contract reinstated and I refuse to pay for a contract that was sold to me under false pretences!
Please, can someone urgently attend to my migration back to my old package?
Many thanks,
Candice
