contract cancellation

I cancelled my contract with mondo a day after i have accepted the offer sometime in august, i have never received the package or paid for it. i have been going to mtn to apply for a phone but i am told that my application is still open with mondo and they cannot assist me until mondo has cancelled the contract. I called mondo and they tell me the application is cancelled but mtn tells me it is still open on their system. this is really frustrating
