Cant keep your own promise Mondo?

On 4 Aug, i app**** for an MTN contract which was approved. I submitted all my documents and as of 20/08 I still have not received the handset. I called yesterday to enquire cause clearly 10days had lapsed and was told that 'oh Mtn has not captured the contract'. this despite the fact that I received an SMS to await the contact from the courier company. I then decided to cancel the order cause I cannot deal with such incompetence. If I had not called, one wonders when this would have been communicated to me. Why do these companies provide such bad service? WHY??
