Cancelled contract within the 7 day period but was charged cancellation fee

<p>I have been trying since Sept 2016 to rid myself of Mondo. The call centre agent on the sales call I spoke to started with a couple of basic lies:</p> <p>1. Firstly they say that there is a no consequence cancellation of the contract within the cancellation period</p> <p>2. Second lie is that the contract terms and conditions will come with the router</p> <p> </p> <p>when I received the router there was a note which said that it cannot be returned if the package is opened. I did not open the package, instaed I contacted them to cancel (within the cancellation period).</p> <p> </p> <p>I have spoken to various people: "Christine", "Merlecia" (I'm strating to think this might all be the same person". The reponse is standard, they will sort it out and someone will contact me. </p> <p>I sent through numerous requests to cancel - I have numerous emails ********** and even posted on their facebook page.</p> <p> </p> <p>I want my R1150 back and will take this up with other complaints authority. What is strange though is that Telkom continues to work with Mondo despite all the complaints. When I contacted Telkom the agent told me that they are aware of the problems with Telkom.</p> <p> </p> <p>My advice: Stay as far away as possible from Mondo! I have decided to stay away from call centre sales altogether.</p>
