Yet another example of bad service from Investo

I had a retirement annuity and app**** for an emigration withdrawal. All paperwork was submitted to Momentum in Sep 2017 and have been waiting for a tax directive from SARS to be issued since Dec 2017 based on the 21 business day turnaround time provided by Momentum. I have had to continuously follow up with the emigrations representative as no feedback was/is being provided whatsoever. After basically being told to just sit and wait (which is totally unacceptable), took it upon myself to contact SARS. I was told by SARS that the directive had actually been posted to Momentum in Nov 2017. Again, a number of emails has been exchanged with Momentum but no progress has been made. I have been waiting 4 months now for a tax directive that has been approved and all Momentum can say is that they have emailed SARS and awaiting feedback - no proactive actions being done on Momentum's part. This is deplorable customer service!! In addition, no resources are available to escalate the matter further.

We obtained the emigration tax directive from SARS today and payment has been released. Feedback was provided via e-mail.

Once again our sincere apology for the delay in finalising your withdrawal.

Kind regards
