Wrong info given resulting in lower discount
I always communicate via email since I prefer keeping proof of everything that was said. Once again it is working to my advantage as I have the answer I received to a previous enquiry sent to Momentum on record. Two weeks ago I sent an enquiry regarding ActiveDayz wherein I specifically asked if any qualifying activity counts towards the 13 dayz needed for a 60% gym discount. In no uncertain terms I was informed that 10000 steps, burning 300 calories or visiting the gym all counts (I have the email received from Bianca Beukes as proof). Consequently I started using the MapMyRun app to record workout sessions in addition to visiting the gym. However, when I logged onto the Momentum website I noticed that my discount is limited to 40% and that only the gym visits was taken into account. I sent two subsequent emails to which no reply was received, hence this complaint. I requested clarification on the gym discount requirements so as to do everything right from now on as I cannot afford to pay more. I also requested that my discount be adjusted to 60% for when my next debit order is deducted since I acted on advice received from Momentum, which now appears to have been wrong.
