Work hard and we will make your rewards less

I have been with Momentum for a long time. I joined Momentum Multiply along with my wife in January 2017. We quickly worked our way up to Platinum status in a very short time and made sure our active days reached 16 which is required for the maximum benefit for health saver payout.

Ever since we joined I must have had at least 20 calls with Momentum Multiply because they do not apply my wife's health return. Month in and month out. We really work hard to get our health in check and to get our active days to 16 every month... I was an amber healthy heart status and my wife was Green. With 16 active days each, I got R400, and my wife R800, accumulating to R1200 for the both of us per month.

I have waited for 2 months now for Multiply to update my wifes healthy heart score, and they finally updated it giving her a amber status, because they say she is a smoker?? She has never smoked in her life.

If we were both green healthy hearts, according to 2017 rules and regulations, we would collectively receive R1600 a month toward our health saver. 2018 came, and they decided that according to your individual contribution, R150 per R500 of your contribution will be paid to you health saver. Our medical aid costs R2333 a month

So just to be clear here... We work our buts off so we can get a maximum reward (R1600 a month) to our health saver, and they decide that they are going to cut it to R600 a month? They are going to cut our benefits by R1000 per month. So how does this benefit me in any possible way? So basically they say spend R500 more then you get R150 more... wheres the benefit in that?

This is a scheme to give the stockholders a bigger cut, and the directors a bigger salary. It is literally a disadvantage to every single Momentum Multiply customer in South Africa!! Isn't the whole idea to gain more client by offering more benefits? Instead they decide to make out benefits less by 60%
