Utterly Poor service

I have a policy with momentum which include diagnoses of certain illnesses. I have been paying for a couple of years now and wa srecently diagnosed with policystic kidneys. I lodged a claim 4 months ago and until today they keep asking the same documents over and over. I have sent all medical reports diagnoses scans blood reports etc. Now today i recieve another letter to say they need all above to consider my claim. The assessor who was appointed keep telling me he will get back to me and never does. He now does not even answer his phone when i call him. I have given all necesarry documents for the claim to be considered. Now they want me to ask my sister regarding her medical history which by the way is priviliged information. If they need my sisters history they should get it from her with concent from her. If momentum could appoint assessors who actually provide the decision makers with all the documents to consider a claim then my claim can get finalized. I have to pay my dr with every appointment to obtail a letter that have already been provided. It seems that momentum is looking for reasons not to consider my claim. After 4 months at least they cn be decent to answer my calls john nel policy number ********** 42... i will be going to the ombud

I received confirmation from the claims deopartment that they have informed you why we require more medical information. A letter that provide comprehensive feedback was forwarded to you yersterday.

In order to assess each case fairly Momentum has a duty to ensure that all relevant information is available before a final decision is made. in most cases Momentum will only know which additional information will be required for a specific case once the initial information is received. Furthermore, the information supp**** by medical practitioners will require Momentum to ask for further specific relevant information in order to make a fair and correct decision.

Kind regards
