Useless Multiply Visa Card

The new Multiply Visa Card by Momentum is useless. Momentum decided to introduce a new product to facilitate payments for medical expenses via this new Visa card that is linked to the Health Saver account. Both my wife and I have had first time experience with this card. We both went to our Optometrist to do our eye tests. My wife needed new glasses as her old ones were no longer suitable for her deteriorating eye sight. On 30 Nov she swiped this new card and the transaction was successful and I swiped my card on the 2 December and was also successful. To my surprise, the doctor contacted me about 4 days later to inform that both transactions had still not credited into his bank account. I contacted Momentum to investigate this and after providing the transaction reference numbers etc., the transactions were eventually reversed. Momentum then instructed me to re-swipe the card at the doctor as the "problem" was sorted. I did exactly that on 9 December only to be informed again by the doctor that the transaction also didn't credit into his account. Not only has this caused us time, petrol, stress and frustration but the doctor has also incurred reversal charges on his account and refuses to accept any Multiply Visa card. This has also caused unnecessary delays in my wife getting her much needed glasses. Momentum has simply apologized and nothing more. Unacceptable service from Momentum of which we have been members for over 12 years. Do they deserve my continued support? I think not.
