trustee say i dont qualify for my uncles pension fund, even tho im one of the beneficiaries
its a bad experience because momentum told me to bring a certified copy i.d, make an affidavit, 3months bank statement and tax number. after all the run around, i was told by my aunt that i dont qualify because i should get a job. when my late uncle got suck he disclosed his private information with me, and told me to be aware that im one of his beneficiary incase anything happened after his death.

Your late Uncle was a member of the Transnet Retirement Fund. The Trustees of the fund made a decision as to whom to allocate the Funds to.
We are aware that you submitted a claim based on financial dependency however the Trustees of the Fund have full discretion in the allocation of the benefits.
Being nominated as a beneficiary as you were in 2001 is only treated as a guideline by the fund's trustees.
