They debitted my account without my concent and now are refusing to refund me

I did a quote with Momentum for a life cover, later changed my mind on the 3rd od September 2020 and aaked my broker Ashley to cancel the policy as I was not happy with the premium. To my surprise on thw 22nd of September 2020 my Absa cheque account was debited about R527 to date I have been swnt from pillar to post regarding my refund. There are cooling off documents which I am supposed to sign before they can process the refund, which I fail to understand why I must sign off those documents as they were not supposed to debit my Absa account to begin with. The policy was supposed to start on the 1st of October 2020 I requested cancelation of the policy on the 3rd of 2020. Today is the 30th of September and still I have not received my money back. Honestly what type of service is this. I have a 3 weeks old baby i cant go to the bank and reverse the debit order. This is so disappointing for such a big company that I have to follow up on a refund of just R526. I would like to kniw for how long is Momentum planning to delay in paying me my money back. Must I really beg you guys as you had no authority what so ever to debit my account. Really this is not on. I want my money in my account tomorrow latest. I have been patient since the 22nd of September its now 30th of September 2020.
