Terrible service from Momentum and broker
On the 9th of February, I submitted my Withdrawal form to my previous employer. The employer actioned the Withdrawal on the 22nd of Feb via the web portal. I received no notification/email/sms/phone call/smoke signal from Momentum or ex employer that I needed to do anything from my side.
After numerous follow ups with the broker, I eventually called Momentum myself, and then only was I advised that I need to initiate the withdrawal. This was on the 12th of March. So from the 22nd till the 12th of March, nothing was done, and has been delayed. It's affecting me personally, and all I'm told is "sorry" This is so unprofessional and unacceptable.

We understand your frustration and apologise for the fact that you were not advised on how the claim process initiated by your employer works.
We understand your frustration and apologise for the fact that you were not advised on how the claim process initiated by your employer works.
The claim was submitted via a Smart Exit process by your employer this means that Momentum is not involved with this on a manual basis. This will only revert to us after a period of time if the process is not followed by the member which is what happened in this instance.
The claim is now being processed.
Regards,
Sue.
