SARS REQUEST FOR OUTSTANDING RECOGNITION OF TRANSFER (ROT01)

I received the following note from SARS 'Please take note that, according to the records of the South African Revenue Service (SARS) the ROT01 for the directive number ***9 has still not been received.

A request for the submission of the ROT01 has been sent to REF GSE***. In order for SARS to finalise the Tax Directive submission process and/or the annual return submission, REF GSE*** is required to submit the ROT01. This will prevent the amount from being included as a withdrawal benefit in your return.'

When I contact your call centre I get told there is no such directive in your records yet this transfer was done in the 2018 tax year. I have contacted Sanlam and they have furnished me with all information and have indicated that they cannot assist with this as it is Momentum's responsibility to submit the ROT01 to SARS.

Can I get feedback on how you are going to resolve this instead of sending me from pillar to post.
