Momentum Life have put me in a desperate position when we took it out they sent my husband for a medical the Doctors machine was broken so he had to run up and down steps they found a heart mumer which is a family condition and no one in his family ever died for it instead lived to an old age so they would only insure him for R2 000 000.00 and put 40% on his premium. our agent new we wanted a payout of between R7 000 000/R10 000 000. so he said never mind we will try again next year to cut a long story tried the next time it was high blood presure then cholestral then he went to the best cardiologist in Durban and he said everything was under control but no now the found high protein in his prostrate and in the end made him have a biopsy which of course was clear we were still only getting R2 000 000.00 so we sent out 2 reps one from liberty life and I from Standard Bank the came back and said with what Momentum said we would not get cover anywhere we were so cross ( you should be seeing all this on Carte Blanche soon before we could take the matter further he died at 66 not with anything they stopped us from putting our payout up but with NATURAL CAUSES so they have caused me now at 69 to lose the man I loved dearly for 43 years and stopped us going to other insurances to get a higher payout I will have to sell the house and still not enough money to live on I have seriously considered taking my own life to be with him as what am I going to do. PLEASE DO NOT USE MOMENTUM ND BE LEFT IN THE POSITION I'M IN NOW by the way my husband died in front of me he had a lung infection he was okay two days after being to the doctor he went had a shower came back to the bed to put on his socks Coughed feinted and died not only have I now not enough money to live on be lost the best man of my life whom I loved dearly . PLease don't let this happen to you
