Retirement Annuity fund

My whole life I've lived with the ideology that when you treat people with respect and fairness they will reciprocate those thing, however I've come to realise that according to Momentum those things don't apply, in fact their vision and mission does not correlate with their brand identity.

My mother passed away October 2019 and I was thrown into the world of retirement policies and being a beneficiary. At first I was called by a man named Langutani Chauke, who not only showed me no amount of compassion but made it clear that he wasn't interested in following procedure or treating me right. I complained about this and next thing I know I got an email from a lady by the name of Sunisha bwahani. I was glad for their swift response but little did I know things would go from better to worse. Better the devil you know than an angel who pretends to care about you. She did her work in terms of asking for documents. I comp**** with everything she asked of me, even though they didn't explain much, but when the ruling came out cutting me out completely she slowly changed her tune and stopped answering my calls.

I complained internally but nobody cared. So I sought legal council and even he was ignored and told to ask me, a person who understood nothing. I was told about the pension fund, so I followed procedure and lodged a complain. Ruling came out and yet the very same people who I complained about including their lawyer, were the very same people handling my case. So basically not only did Momentum show me zero compassion, fairness and equality but they basically made me feel like I was not my mother's daughter. I never wished to go online with my grievances but I can see that Momentum only answers when you blast them on social media but when you treat them with respect they don't return the favour.

So to anyone who's thinking of opening a policy with them. I urge you to take your money elsewhere, where you'll be treated with dignity, respect and compassion at a time when you really need it.
