Provident fund payout
My previous employer app**** for a provident fund with Momentum. After my retrenchment, I requested that the savings be paid out 60% . I have provided Momentum with all the relevant documentation and asked them to confirm when the refund will be done. I have sent multiple emails to the administrator Thoko & she never replies. It’s been 2months n no payment has been made. I really am disappointed at the lack of professionalism by momentum. No respect whatsoever , the manager Thulani is just as useless. My debts are increasing because I had made arrangements according to momentum’s advise but every time I call I get told by 2weeks. Worst service ever I’m glad I have no policies with them, I’ve never been so frustrated in my life
Momentum received your claim forms with with an end date of 30 June 2019.
The employer has until the 7th of the next month in which you submit their recons and make payment. From the 7th of July we were in a position to process your claim. The turnaround time is 26 working days.
We confirm that the claim is in process and provided that all of the processes run correctly i.e the verification, we will be in a position to pay your claim next week.
