PENSION FUND NIGHTMARE

I was employed by a company that gave us Funds at Work Retirement benefits. I completed my withdrawal documents on my 2nd last day as I have resigned the 30th of April 2023. On the documents it says 4-5 weeks. We are in the 9th week already. I have followed up with my previous HR and she said that Momentum Funds at Work needed my SARS nr, that is why there is a delay, it is absolutely untrue, my SARS number has been filled in on the form. When I phoned Momentum today 29/05/2023, I was told that there was an enquiry about my withdrawal forms, it will be escalated to the next department. I find this disturbing. Why must I struggle to get the money that is owing to me?
