PATHETIC PENALTIES CHARGED BY MOMENTUM

I started a RA in May 2011, paying approximately R780 per month. Now in 2015, I want to move my RA to another (more efficient and productive) service provider. I am being penalized for taking out MY money. Momentum is charging me a fee of R3529. Although a penalty was expected, this amount is totally pathetic. <br> <br> My investment in a nutshell: From May 2011 to March 2015, MY contribution to my RA was R32215. Total investment value was R38338, penalty is: R3,529. I MADE A WHOOPING R2594 in almost 5 years!!! I could have placed my investment under my mattress and earned more! Another example that blatantly tells the truth... Momentum is not there for their clients but for themselves. Think twice before taking on a Momentum policy! Question is, do I just sit back and accept this theft or take it up with the relevant authority. I guess the latter. Watch this space Momentum
