NB:  PLEASE DO READ THIS BEFORE TAKING OUT A LIFE AND FUNERAL POLICY COVER WITH MOMENTUM

We, thus, my late husband and I, were with Momentum for well over 15 years, if not more, may I say maybe even longer. And yes, we paid our premiums every single month on time. This was for my husband's life cover as well as funeral cover, and my life cover.

When we signed up for this policy, there was no explanation of an expiration or lapsing policy dates ever mentioned to us. Should there be one? Do you know when you're going to get sick or die? It's supposed to be life and funeral cover. How can it lapse if you are paying your premiums?

This until after a good couple of years in after my husband fell seriously ill, and when I saw that there was no more hope for him and he was becoming so frail and difficult to handle and needed much more medical and daily professional 24 hour medical assistance … thus at his very last, and after going though many difficulties and not claiming a single cent for the 15+ years, I decide to claim his life cover as I could not carry the doctors and hospital bills myself, after years of struggling by myself. With two young daughters who have been deprived and stripped of almost everything in life because of their father's illness, but the Momenta policy’s premiums were still being paid?! I sent in doctors' reports and all that I possibly could; I even went as far as to tell them that they could do their own private investigation on what medical records there could be. As I was a caregiver 24/7 for my husband, still being a mother to 2 daughters, still working, and doing everything on my own, and of course still paying you our monthly premiums! After a long period of waiting and emails being lost, etc. His claim was denied. At this point, I was his caregiver 24/7, the two daughters and I were taking life's toll and going hungry, outwitted, overwhelmed, and destressed, depressed, exhausted, and lost, and much more than words can tell … we wanted to give my husband, at the age of 63 years old, as much of life as there was left. Forms filled in by my assisting doctor(s) were sent to Momentum Claims for disability …filled in, etc.

However, I remember there was always an issue with non-payout, which was and is desperately needed. Remember, I only put in a claim at the very last, and when there was no further hope, and we were at our very ends.

Claim denied, and then suddenly, life policy and funeral cover came over with a lapsed date. Is this possible?

Well, he did not last much longer after the life claim was sent in, and he sadly passed away again, with no life cover, no funeral cover.

I was and am desperate after all we had been paying for over these 15+ years! Well, this is just to benefit Momentum, I guess.

They tell me that there are 2 premiums to be refunded to us after all this. Is this a joke or what?

I am going to fight for this, and I’m not going to give up and be taken for a fool.

We lost the family’s breadwinner, the head of the household. We are lost as a family, we lost a husband and a father, and we lost all the money we put our trust and faith fate we entrusted you in with!? We have lost everything!!! Do you care a ****, NO!

This is unjust, disgraceful, disrespectful, and, mostly, may I say so myself, *********, and pathetic service for clients who have been paying you and have been loyal to you for years and years, MOMENTUM!

What a pathetic organization, what they say and what they do is not true, they don't care about your best interests...

In the meantime, my daughters and I take our lives on a deep plunge and can't get out of this malicious Momentum that the dug and buried us all alive…

How's that for responsible, professional work? No, it's indeed ********* and dirty, understandable, degradable play!

You are such a large organization employ more people; if you can't handle the work, you cannot afford it. This is Pathetic in every way.

AFTER ALL, THE WHOLE POINT OF HAVING LIFE AND FUNERAL COVER IS HAVING PEACE OF MIND. THE CORRECT THING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE, AND SADLY IT WAS NOT AND HAS NOT BEEN DONE THAT WAY!

So, please may I ask you to think more than twice before doing anything to do or have anything to do with MOMENTUM!

YOU CAN'T MAKE FAMILY SUFFER FOR THINGS THAT MOMENTUM SHOULD HAVE DONE!!
