My traumatizing Momentum experience

Regrettably, I cannot recommend Momentum to companies or individuals, having experienced serious issues across multiple departments. A Momentum assessor medically licensed by the Health Professions Council of South Africa - HPCSA stated during a claim that the spine is not part of the musculoskeletal system, which raised concerns about the accuracy of assessments. When a policy document was requested, I was falsely advised by Momentum's Corporate "Specialist" Liesle Livingston that “all documents required have been sent to the Adjudicators,” despite there being no case before the Adjudicators. Additionally, in the funeral claims department, a claim was declined on the grounds that the deceased family member was not included in the policy. Yet, the very same decline email contained the policy document clearly listing the deceased member as included. This decision was overturned by responding to the email with a screenshot of the very same policy document. Momentum's corporate executive Rigitté Rogers Van Zyl (FIA) refused to assess new medical documents, including a very expensive nuclear medicine CT spect scan and a specialist report among others and instead referred me to the Ombudsman despite me mentioning my critical health conditions! It was also an extreme battle obtaining all of the medical documentation and tests as I'm no longer employed and Momentum Corporate is aware of this fact! I've also received a legal notice with Dumo Mbethe cc'd in, but there's been no response or acknowledgement from such senior heads when I rep**** to that email. These actions raises significant concerns regarding Momentum’s professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness.
