Momentum - the devil is in the fine print

Be very aware when you take out a life policy with Momentum!! After 21 years of paying monthly premiums, I decided to reduce the annual premium increase on my life policy to only 5% per year (policy states "Compulsary": 5%, "Voluntary": 5%). I was informed, however, that although my premium will now only increase with the "Compulsary" 5% per year, my cover will remain stagnant until I die???!! How is this possible, considering the fact that my monthly premium is already above R2500-??!! What am I paying for??!!
