Momentum struggles to pay out - Deceased estate pension

I have been trying to sort out my fathers pension since he passed away (14 June 2018). I have a letter of authority from the Masters high court, yet I get asked for all kinds of irrelevant documents. When I do try to get the documents and I go to the relevant banks etc to acquire them I cannot be assisted.

Momentum doesn't respond to emails. They are dragging this out unnecessarily. They have asked for documents which are not necessary due to my fathers estate being below R 250 000. They do not know what they are doing in order to successfully finalize payout.

This has been an unnecessary struggle. I've had to now ask a lawyer to see into this because of the lack of assistance from Momentum's side.

I would advise that if you are looking or a pension fund, not to go to momentum.
