Momentum *********** people again

My father passed on in 2010 and a death benefit was paid to mother. I recent ran a search engine for outstanding unclaimed benefits and on the 10th April got an e-mail that there is an outstanding benefit and I must check with Momentum contact person Faeeza ********** 460 and when I called her the 1st question was how did I find out about this information which raises suspension that I was perhaps never suppose to find out after 9 years of my dads passing. Since then she has been sending me from pillar to post between herself and the Bargaining council stating that the council must be the ones paying it and not momentum. When i revert back to the council they say that Momentum is part of the board of trustees and a resolution was passed that they should pay the beneficiaries however Momentum denies this. Have a raeson to believe that my father is not the only beneficiary from the litigation proceeds that is sitting with a Trust and they just dont want people to find out. Both of them promised to send me e-mail and to this date there is no written correspondence however I have telephone recordings.

I confirm that you have been contacted by our Portfolio Manager who has confirmed as  follows:
Your father exited the fund as a Death in service member.
There was litigation proceeds allocated to him after his Death benefit was paid his spouse.

It is the responsibility of the Bargaining Council to investigate the circumstances of the deceased family and advise MMI who to pay the
remaining benefit to.

Kind Regards

Sue
