Momentum refusing to pay money

I resigned from my previous company in July, HR told me that if you don’t want to withdraw now, you can wait and later withdraw your mine because I was not sure as your old funds won’t be affected by anything, then in August I decide to withdraw my money as I thought ai maybe these guys might not want to pay my money, little did I know that this is true.

To make matters worse people from momentum came to my previous employer to educate us about the 2 pot system and how it works. They even said if you want to withdraw your money it’s gonna be affected as it will be still be applicable to the old rules no need to worry about that.

Last week I get a call telling me I must firstly withdraw 2 pot then after I can apply for my lump sum to be paid over, then I asked how’s that possible because I made sure I apply before the 1st to avoid such things.

I wouldn’t recommend people to save their money with momentum as the payout it’s a problem they say your money takes 4 to 6 weeks to be paid, now this is my 9 weeks following up on my money
