Momentum Provident fund withdrawal

I resigned from their partner company Metropolitan (MMI Holdings ltd) in January 22. I made a withdrawal on my momentum provident fund on the 5th of February officially closing the investment and was informed that the pay out would be made within 26 days and a confirmation was sent to verify all of this information. It is now the 6th of March and I still haven't received the money in my account nor have I received any communication regarding this. I have been making calls to them but none from them. I have been given a ficticious Ref number: ********** the first time, second call ********** and there is a third one given to me by a lady called Brittany ********** .

They all say the incompetence is with Metropolitan HR Nocawe Siwela who does not reply to their emails timeously. I tried calling her on her office numbers ********** 059 but nobody answers. It is becoming a trend to either refuse or prolong people's payouts since the two companies are struggling financially.

Youre of service is extremely unsatisfactory.

Good Day

The Manager of the Staff Fund will call you.

Momentum received your claim documentation on 5 February 2019. The January recon was finalised on 12 February, therefore if all the relevant documents were submitted and all the information was correct we would have been in a position to start the claim on 13 February.

Unfortunately we only received the confirmation of your exit date on 26 February.

The turnaround time is 26 working days therefore we are still within our turnaround time on this claim.

The claim is currently with our account verification area and once this has been finalised will go for disinvestment.

Kind Regards

Sue

Hi Sue Very interesting that for Metropolitan HR to confirm an employee's exit date it took them 21 days. Goodluck on your mission. Regards
