momentum poor service
<p>my mother has an investment with momentum, it is a five yerar term contract , however my mothewr is in finacial crisis and the they dont want to release any cent towards hed, she is not making a loan from the its her momey she told them that she is prepared for any penalties if there are any but they dont want to listen</p> <p> </p> <p>she has developed heart problems due to this situiation , i think they are so heartless</p> <p> </p> <p>kindly assist</p>

Dear Miss Lesaoana,
I refer to our earlier telephone conversation - Mrs Lesaoana has an Endowment policy with Momentum. In terms of current Legislation, the policyholder can only take 1 loan and 1 withdrawal in the first 5 years. A withdrawal was taken in April 2016 ad a loan was taken in January 2017. The 5 year restricted period only ends in 2020. Unfortunately in term of the law Momentum is not allowed to give any further withdrawals or loans until the restricted period has come to an end.
Unfortunately the Act does not allow Momentum any discretion in this regard and we are not allowed to make any exceptions and give further withdrawals in a current restricted period.
I am sorry that I am unable to give you a more favourable outcome.
