Momentum, please help me.

I have a retirement annuity with Momentum, due to my age it is very difficult to obtain permanent employment. I am under the impression that if you have an investment with an insurance institution, they will assist you, but with Momentum it is not the situation. During the last two years, my family and I have been homeless twice, I ask Momentum to assist me to withdraw my small investment with them, the response from them is that it is controlled by legislation and there is nothing they can do, but according to other financial institutions, they are in a position to assist me to withdraw my investment, but they choose not to. I do not receive positive feedback from Momentum, I am told to go to SARS and plead my case there, I do not have experience with investments and expect Momentum to assist me with the afore mentioned process, but there is no attempt to assist me from their side. At the end of July, my family and I will be homeless once again and Momentum prefers to ignore that fact and does not work with me to obtain a positive outcome for me to withdraw the remainder of my investment. I cannot understand why the public invest with an institution when they just throw their arms in the air when the customer needs assistance, it does not make sense at all. The financial advisors do not have the knowledge to assist you and higher management is not interested to assist you, I throw in the towel now, what else must I do, I do not have the knowledge to sort out the problem.
