MOMENTUM MULTIPLY - THE ONLY MEDICAL AID WHICH PENALIZES YOU FOR LOW CHOLESTEROL

We have been with Momentum Health and Multiply for a number of years. The rewards system last year was fantastic. My husband and I both become fitter and healthier and maintained a Green Healthy Heart status. Bring on 2018, well, a complete different story. The Health Returns have been slashed astronomically. Instead of our monthly refund of R1400, we get R900 for the same level. What justifies this kind of decrease? The increase our fees annually, but decrease our rewards.

Today, my husband went for his annual Health Assessment. His Cholesterol reading was 2.59, which is great, it is the lowest it has ever been. All thanks to doing our active days and eating healthy as prescribed by Momentum and Multiply during the course of last year. Fantastic news, our hard work paid off!

BUT NO, WAIT! Multiply has penalised him and bought down his status to Amber. For what you may ask? For having a low Cholesterol level!

This is ludicrous. I have never heard of any doctor, nor medical aid scheme which penalises their members for having a low cholesterol level. Especially when the low level of Cholesterol is the outcome of its own prescription!! SIS ON YOU MOMENTUM AND MULTIPLY! PENALIZING A MEMBER FOR BEING HEALTHY. ARE YOU THAT DESPERATE TO MAKE CUT BACKS?? HOW AWFULLY DISHONEST AND SHORT SIGHTED OF YOU. I HAVE THE RIGHT MIND TO VOICE THIS ON 702 FOR THE NATION TO HEAR WHAT ****** YOU ARE.
